Making the Invisible Crisis Visible
Public understanding is the first step toward action. Our Raise Awareness pillar translates complex science into clear, compelling information for the public, clinicians, and policymakers — through articles, events, clinical tools, and a national social media presence.
We engage clinicians, policymakers, academic institutions, and the public through targeted educational campaigns, digital outreach, and knowledge-sharing resources. Evidence that doesn’t reach people doesn’t change anything.
Our Founding Public Voice
“Wildfire Smoke is Affecting Your Brain, Not Just Your Lungs”
The article that started it all. Published in The Conversation Canada, this evidence-based op-ed made the case — for the first time in a national Canadian outlet — that wildfire smoke is a direct neurological threat, not just a respiratory one. The response it generated directly led to the founding of Brain-CE.
